this saturday sept 10th is the benefit for Lissa Walles. The event will be at Celebrity Theatre in Phx AZ.
starts at 6pm.
more info here. www.wakeuptolove.com or
www.troyluccketta.com
if you can't make it, an account has been setup for donations, all proceeds go towards her massive medical expenses. Remember, she's like the majority of us working musician, unless she has a gig, she does not get paid and of course her benefits are not the best either.
she is one of us and has brought you some of the best pictures of your fav drummers over the last 20 years, she deserves any help you can give.
i know that for some affected by the hurricane times are rough and especially during these times it's hard to come up with money for both..........

Yes.............we run in the same circles of corporate gigs. Met a few times in the studio not long ago for the first time actually.

lastnight's show was awesome.........highlights include; Carmine and Dom Famularo's drum duet, got a standing ovation.
Danny Seraphine, awesome.........he sounded really good.
Ken Mary, what can you say? amazingly underated drummer, came out and did a solo then played to a track, same did Billy Ashbaugh.
Chad Smith just ripped it up on the kit backing Glenn Hughes on the tunes Burn and Whiter Shade of Pale.
Jimmy DeGrasso was another great performance backing the amazing Ronnie Montrose with Dave Elefson on bass.
Steve Ferrone did Badge with the house band, but what was killer about it was this, we had 2 kits set front of stage, he did not want to be in 'front' of the band, so he opted to sit on Troy's acrylic kit, first off, the rack tom is 14" and the floors are 16" and 18" AND Troy sits much lower........
Ferrone sat down and did his thing.
Garibaldi along with Larry Bragg (vocals TOP) did what is hip with the house band.......tore it up.
look for the dvd. it was a great time and just inspiring because everyone really was so easy to work with. no worries about having the 'right' brand name kit and so forth.......
